Where is my data processed?
Requests are routed to the model providers you use. See our Privacy Policy below for details. Requests are answered by the model provider you select, and screened by an automated moderation check before they are forwarded. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored, what is not, and for how long.

1. Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the NovaAPI service (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1.2 Description of Service
NovaAPI provides a unified application programming interface (API) that routes requests to third-party large language model providers. The Service currently offers DeepSeek V4 models as well as Claude-compatible endpoints backed by high-performance Chinese model infrastructure; additional Chinese model families such as Qwen, GLM, Kimi and MiniMax are added as they become available. We act as an access layer; the underlying models are operated by their respective providers.
1.3 Account & API Keys
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- API keys are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your keys secret.
- You may not share, resell, or sublicense your API keys or account access without our prior written consent.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or are used for unlawful purposes.
1.4 Acceptable Use
- You agree not to use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content, or to violate any applicable law.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service.
- You may not resell raw API access to the Service as a competing gateway.
1.5 Payments & Refunds
- Usage is billed in advance against your prepaid balance, deducted per token consumed.
- Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to change prices; changes will not affect already-purchased balances.
1.6 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Upstream model providers may change, deprecate, or limit models at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or the output of third-party models.
1.7 Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement. Upon termination you must stop using the Service; any remaining balance will be handled per our refund policy.
1.8 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Information We Collect
- Account data: email address and billing records required to operate your account.
- API request data: the prompts and responses transmitted through the Service, plus metadata such as timestamps, token counts and model used.
- Usage data: aggregated metrics used for billing and service improvement.
2.2 How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, secure and improve the Service.
- To calculate and bill your usage accurately.
- To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
2.3 Data Sharing with Model Providers
To fulfill your requests, prompts and related data are forwarded to the third-party model provider you select. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.
2.4 Data Retention
Request logs are retained for a limited period needed for billing, abuse prevention and debugging, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
2.5 Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect account credentials and data in transit. No method of transmission is 100% secure; you should not submit highly sensitive information through the Service.
2.6 Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
